I Can't Believe It!

My baby is 8 months tomorrow!!!  I never really thought anything of it when people told me it goes by fast, but they aren't kiddin'!

Morgan is doing the funniest stuff lately:

• She waves hello and goodbye
• She does a very convincing fake laugh
• She loves rides on our shoulders
• She smiles crookedly (as you can see above)
• She rolls across the room to get to her car seat and diaper bag to inspect them from a worm's-eye-view
• She is learning how to start her own game of peek-a-boo
• She absolutely LoVeS to go on walks in her stroller
• She loves children and babies,
• And so much more!

 This is what she does when she rolls to the corner of the room.  This time she was investigating the magazine basket.

Both of her grandmas bought her one of these in the past week.  She likes it for a little while, then gets cranky, she is still refusing to stand on her feet.

This was after our walk one morning.  She just looked so cute and happy, I had to snap a picture. :)

Her two favorite things to play with:

her doll and a can of diet coke.

The other day she rolled over to the entertainment center and snatched the "easy" button.  She would then roll on her stomach and push down on it with her mouth to make it say, "That was easy."  It really didn't look that easy.

Current things we're working on:

• getting her to at least stand (of course)
• getting her to dance when we sing or play music
• hair is not food (neither are fingers or paper or Kleenexes or anything else she gets her quick little hands on that is not edible)
• getting her to give us a thumbs up
• teaching her that throwing her toys just to have us retrieve them is not that fun,
• and we can't constantly be jumping up and down, laughing and singing to entertain her, we only have so much energy, Morg!

We love Morgan to pieces.  She's got us wrapped around her adorable little finger!
